Introduction.

After a very long hiatus from the blogging world, I have decided to step up to the plate and start writing again. It is Summer, after all, and that Summer downtime comes quite often now that I have been cut loose by Crescent Digital. A seemingly endless job search ensues such an event, naturally, but you can only dedicate so much time to a thing like this.

The focus and nature of this blog will be rather different from the other blog I am formerly a part of, but hopefully will be just as entertaining for both myself and you, the reader. It will be the same mix of whatever I feel like writing: I will write about such humorous things as retarded black metalers [God Bless 'em], Micah backing into the ditch in front of my home, and the naturally narrow-minded music reviews at pluggedinonline.com.

Naturally, music will come up a lot. Though it is getting rather worn out, especially to those who grow up in a generatoin full of people who claim 'LI3K, MUZIC IS MY LIEF LOLOLOL', I cannot help but talk about it. I won't let much of anything hold me back, because it is just my inclination. I've been expanding my exposure in heavy music as of late, so, naturally, heavy metal will be discussed frequently. But fear not! I won't just go on about how awesome heavy music is and how if you don't listen to 'Insert band name here', you should die. I am no elitist, I just happen to be an individual with tastes and opinions. Also, I listen to a variety of non-metal bands, so you don't have to worry about this being too monotonous [one metal band after the other]. I will do the reviews [albums, and bands a a whole] a lot, but a lot of people, regardless of taste, seemed to enjoy my reviews in 38 Mile Radiusland for the novelty of the humor, and for the writing style, above all else. I will also talk about music news. I've been discovering lots of fucked up stuff on the internet as of late. So, as you can see, the topics should be diverse here, even the ones that will be in the realm of music, heavy or not.

I suppose I should also let it be known that although it gave me a start in heavy music, metalcore will barely be mentioned here. Acts such as As I Lay Dying, Shadows Fall, All That Remains, KillSwitch Engage, Lamb of God, and Chimaira are all indeed kick ass bands, but these are not, contrary to popular belief, pure metal bands. I have developed a liking to actual heavy metal bands such as Kreator, Naglfar, Behemoth, etc.,etc. I will still discuss metalcore, but I have been listening to much more heavy metal as of late, so discussing them more will only be natural.

On top of that, I should also mention that I feel bad for the metalcore bands I just listed. They maintain their badass, but metalcore is being invaded by pussy metalcore bands such as Blessthefall and Still Remains in which the lead singer screams his barely-dropped-balls into the mic, crying out to either God or his ex for forgiveness. Pity.

That's it for now. I will begin writing new entries when I want to and when I have the time. The latter should not be much of an issue. Comments are welcomed by all registered users, as long as they aren't intentionally demeaning or otherwise malicious in spirit.
